What We Remember of Flying | 48 X 36 X 1.5

Peter Pan has grown older but somewhere between memory and sleep Neverland still waits. Walking beside his son pieces of Peter’s childhood surface around them—the ship the moon the crocodile shadows of adventures that may have happened exactly this way or perhaps only feel that way now. Past and present overlap as the father revisits an imagined world through the curiosity of his child. The painting explores the way childhood changes as we age: becoming less a place we can return to and more a dream we can pass along.
