Shadow of My Former Self

This painting began with a thoughtful reflection on how our past experiences profoundly change who we ultimately become as individuals. Whether an experience is perceived as positive or negative that experience inevitably becomes an integral part of our personal “vessel.” As we grow and evolve we carry along with us bits and pieces of those invaluable experiences; however they gradually become just a smaller yet significant part of the larger whole that defines us.
