Perseverance

This sculpture entitled "Perseverance" is a bronze one of a kind piece made with the lost wax technique. The original piece was sculpted out of wax and curly willow. Then the wax and willow were dipped in a casting material multiple times. After drying the wax and willow were burned out of the mold in the kiln. Then bronze was poured into the mold. The bronze was sprayed with a mixture to patina and waxed then mounted on wood. This sculpture was started in 2014 and was completed in 2024. The sculpture illustrates perseverance how life is an unstable journey of risks and we must continue to climb upward to experience victory.
