Our Cypress

This painting is inspired by the cypress tree from our wedding day a place that became deeply personal while still belonging to the shared landscape of Florida’s preserved state land. For me the tree represents love memory and the quiet beauty of nature that belongs to everyone. It is both our tree and not our tree a living symbol of personal devotion within a larger world worth protecting.
