March 28th - Watercolor Foundations: A Three-Week Immersive Course

Are you craving color, fluidity, and a creative reset? This expanded three-week watercolor experience is designed to move slowly, intentionally, and beautifully allowing you to truly understand the medium while watching your own progress unfold in real time. Over the course of three thoughtfully structured sessions, you won’t just “take a class.” You’ll build a small body of work, create a personal portfolio of finished pieces, and lean into a relaxing artistic rhythm that carries you from beginner foundations to confident expression.

Week One - Begins at the beginning. Katrina walks you through materials, brush handling, pigment behavior, and foundational techniques like washes and gradients. By the end of this session, you’ll complete studies and a finished piece that reflects control, clarity, and new understanding.

Week Two - Builds depth and intention. With foundational skills in place, you’ll move into layering, glazing, wet-on-wet versus wet-on-dry techniques, and creating light and movement within your compositions. You’ll begin to understand how to control the flow without fighting it. This is where your paintings begin to feel dimensional and expressive rather than tentative. You’ll see your confidence grow and you’ll physically see the progress when you place your new work beside your first week’s pieces.

Week Three - Invites expression.
With technique under your belt, you’ll lean into a more freestyle piece, applying everything you’ve learned. This session is about trust...trusting your hand, trusting the water, trusting the process. The result is a finished painting that reflects growth, confidence, and your own evolving voice.

Over three weeks, you won’t just “take a class.” You’ll create a small body of work, your own watercolor portfolio. Experience a creative process that feels both calming and invigorating.
