Make & Paint Your Own Ceramic Birdfeeder

September 25 | 6–8 PM
Notta Gallery | Downtown Lakeland

Create a one-of-a-kind ceramic birdfeeder from start to finish in this hands-on pottery workshop with Chandler Glotfelty of Glotfelty Pottery.

Participants will learn how to handbuild a hanging birdfeeder using white stoneware clay, then make it their own with colorful underglaze designs, patterns, and painted details.

No two birdfeeders will be alike. Whether you keep your design simple, colorful, whimsical, or nature-inspired, you’ll leave having created a functional piece of ceramic art made entirely by hand.

In this class you’ll:

  • Handbuild your own ceramic birdfeeder

  • Learn basic clay construction techniques

  • Decorate and paint your piece with underglaze

  • Create a unique piece designed to hang outdoors and welcome your neighborhood birds
