Experimenting with Shapes and Colors

Description: I started this piece by making it the smallest pixel that I could generate which was 1x4 pixels. From there I added multiple colored shapes layering them together and also blending each different shape to create more colors. After the layering and blending I then enlarged the image to 54" long. After printing the piece I then toke different shapes from the piece and printed another copy so that I can add on more layers. I used the copy to make a collage with the original piece. After finishing the collage I noticed that there was a lot of negative spaces throughout the piece. I used macron pen ink to fill in each negative space so that the entire piece was filled in complete. To me it felt like a fun game to fill in every space throughout the piece and to see the finish composition.
