Consumption Becoming | 48 X 24 X 2

Sometimes, what we consumes becomes inseparable from who we are.

This piece lives in the uncomfortable space where appetite, memory, comfort and identity begin to blur. The figure and the feast are no longer separate. One has begun to inhabit the other.

An illumination of what remains when the thing we reach for, to fill an emptiness begins taking up more space than the emptiness itself.
