12 strand Mauritanian hair shell pendant choker

This center pendant I got in Marrakesh Morocco. It is Mauritanian hair shell. The women wear these hair shells in their hair, braided woven in, but this was made into a pendant.. there is also Tuareg brass that I got in Marrakesh accenting the sides.
