"As a local artist, I was born in Georgia but have resided in various states throughout my life. Lakeland has been our home for almost 17 years. I am married to the lovely Mary, and we have two exceptional and amazing teenagers, Emmersyn and Fynn. We also have a dog named Charlie and two cats. My passion for drawing has been a lifelong pursuit, and my mediums are pen and ink, as well as painting. I get great satisfaction from individuals who discover their own narratives or meanings from my artwork."

Bump has been an extraordinarily helpful partner during the upbringing of our gallery. From marketing consultations to bringing his - famously - hidden artworks to our shop, he has made his mark on our early development. And Notta Gallery is not the only place that he continues to make his mark, as he contributes to charities and organizations that give back to our community in Lakeland.
The bold and graphic illustration style that he utilizes for his artworks truly emphasizes their organic quality. After moving across his canvases with a pen and some ink, Bump creates familiar scenes for his viewers to create stories about for themselves. This moment of introspection is what interests Bump the most.
