Dianna Davidson

Dianna C. Davidson is a ceramic artist whose lifelong practice blends technical mastery with an enduring spirit of exploration. Beginning at the Maine College of Art, she developed a passion for Raku firing and went on to study with master potter Ron Burke, lead Raku workshops, teach ceramics, complete an artist residency, and further explore high-fire processes at the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts. She later established her own studio in Bath, Maine, exhibiting her work while remaining active in arts education and community engagement.

Now based in Florida, Dianna draws inspiration from decades of experience, continued study, and travels throughout China, Egypt, and Europe. Her current work explores contemporary ceramic forms designed for vertical display, challenging traditional ideas of three-dimensional presentation and reflecting the curiosity that has defined her practice: a desire to continually push both herself and her medium.
